Danny, Champion of the World

This book is about a boy named Danny who only has his father and his friend. His father is a poacher who teaches him how to poach. If you read this book you’ll find out why Danny is called the champion of the world

My opinion is that Roald Dahl has written a lot of really good books, like Dirty Beasts and Fantastic Mr. Fox. I recommend this book because I think it’s the best book he’s ever written.

This book would be good for 3rd grade and up. This book isn’t similar to many books. I like it because it’s different. This story is one of those simple kind of stories. Even though it is a simple story it has a very good message. It could be used in school as a good read aloud or an independent reading book.
