The Chocolate Touch

John loved chocolate. One day John found a coin as he was going to Susan?s house. He thought maybe I should take another way to her house. So he did. Then he saw a candy store. He rushed into the store. Then the storekeeper said, ?Will you please taste my chocolate?? Then John said, ?But I don?t have any money!? The shopkeeper told him he could use the special coin he found to buy the chocolate.

John hid the chocolate when he got home. Then he ate the chocolate. After that, everything that he put into his mouth turned into chocolate. His parents took him to the doctor. Dr. Cranium said, ?This is strange because I have never seen this before this should be called Dr. Cranium disease.?

Then he kissed his mother on the cheek. She turned into chocolate. You will have to read the story to find out what else happens!

I liked the part when John kissed his mother when she was crying. Once my mom was crying when I had a problem and she helped me feel better. I gave my mom a kiss then we all felt better! My favorite character was John, I would do anything to help my mom too. I wonder what I would do if I could turn everything into chocolate? I think I would be sick of chocolate right away.

I recommend this book for children ages 7 to 12. It was serious in places and lots of fun in others!
