Carnival at Candlelight

This book is about a brother and sister named Jack and Annie. The story takes place in a treehouse in Frog Creek Woods and in Venice, Italy. Jack and Annie have a book of magic they need to use to save the great lady of the lagoon. To do so, they have to travel 250 years back in time. They have a list of people who can help them save the great lady of the lagoon, but they don't know where to find those people. To find out more, read Carnival at Candlelight!

This book is very good because it is interesting, fun, and full of adventure. My favorite part is when Jack and Annie get to ride on the golden flying lion. I like it because it is different from any other part in the book. Annie reminds me of myself because I like adventures just like her.

I recommend this book because it is fun and full of magic. I think second and third graders would like this book a lot. This book is interesting because it has fun adventures that wouldn't be in other books.
