A Series of Unfortunate Events: The Bad Beginning

Someone has jinxed Violet, Klaus and Sunny Baudelaire. First their parents die in a fire, and then they are forced to live with nasty Count Olaf. Have you ever chopped wood all day? Are you responsible for making every meal of every day? Well Count Olaf forces the Baudelaire children to do exactly that! Pretty bad, right? Find out whether things ever turn around for these poor kids.

One character I find interesting is Sunny Baudelaire. In sticky situations she helps by using her teeth! This book is part of the series, A Series of Unfortunate Events. It is like the others because the children try to escape Count Olaf in all of them. This book is so unpredictable that I felt I couldn't put it down for one second. This book is unique because not many books have children trying to escape a villain all on their own!

I recommend this book to someone who likes suspense and a little mystery. Also, if you like to use your imagination, this is the book for you.
