Henry and Mudge in Puddle Trouble

This book is about a boy and his dog and their adventures. Henry, the boy, and Mudge, the dog, go out into a storm. They see a water puddle. Then Henry's dad comes outside to tell them it is time to go home. Mudge shook so much that Henry's dad got wet. So Henry's dad decided to have fun jumping in a puddle too.

I liked this story. It was funny because Henry's dad got wet. I also think it's funny because Henry likes to play with his dog, Mudge. I do not like to play with my dog because she is annoying. I also liked the illustrations because then I knew what Henry and Mudge looked like. The illustrator must practice drawing a lot because her pictures were much better than mine. While I read the book, I thought it would be exciting to be an illustrator. If I practice, one day, I may be as good as this illustrator.

I think you should read this book if you like dogs. If you only like cats, you might not like this book.
