Sweet Clara and The Freedom Quilt

This book was about a girl named Clara. Clara makes a quilt of the underground railroad to help other slaves get away from the people who own them. Clara puts together some scraps that look like the underground railroad.

I liked the book very much because it was interesting and it had very pretty pictures. There were lots of illustrations. They are very colorful and they have a lot of details in the paintings. My favorite character is Clara because she is the main character and she is very nice and kind to other people.

I think that people who are into picture books would like Sweet Clara and the Freedom Quilt. I think that kids in grades one, two, and three would like this book.
