In the beginning of this book, a thunderstorm was coming to Patricia’s grandma’s house. (Patricia and her Grandmother are the main characters.) Patricia is scared of thunder and her grandma decides to make a thunder cake with Patricia. They need to gather the ingredients for the cake before the storm comes. You’ll need to read book to find out if Grandma’s plan works.
I like this book because it has to do with cake and I LOVE cake. The 2nd reason I like the book is because it is written by Patricia Polacco. She is a great author! The last reason I like the book is that Patricia was hiding from the thunder. She was scared and sometimes I get scared too.
I recommend this book to people who enjoy reading Patricia Polacco’s books. I also recommend it to people who like cake. But be careful, because if you read this… you will want cake, too.
