Mr. Lincoln's Way

Everyone thinks a teacher named Mr. Lincoln is cool, except a boy named Eugene. He is a bully at school and gets the nickname, Mean Gene. Once, Mr. Lincoln catches Mean Gene looking at birds. Mr. Lincoln calls Mean Gene to his office and gives Mean Gene a bird book. Then Mean Gene and Mr. Lincoln form a friendship. Mean Gene was never without the book. You should read the book to find out if Mean Gene changes his behavior.

I like this book because when you think a kid is going to be mean forever, they turn nice. I also like this book because it’s a cliff hanger. The main character in the book changes a lot. At first Mean Gene is mean, then nice then mean then nice.

I would recommend this book to kids who have trouble with bullies. This book might give an example for you to stop a bully from bullying.
