Have you ever played in a big game of hide and seek? The book I Survived The Nazi Invasion 1944 by Lauren Tarshis is about a boy named Max who won’t give up. First, Max and his sister, Zena have to try and find their dad but Nazis are guarding the ghetto. Then, Max and Zena get caught and escape but have to find cover. They find a safe farm to stay in with people trying to kill the Nazis. Finally, they end up in the forest with tons of Nazis looking for them while they have to find their dad. As you can see, the Nazi Invasion is like a big game of hide and seek.

In my opinion, I Survived The Nazi Invasion 1944 by Lauren Tarshis is an amazing book! First, Max who is the main character is always in trouble. For example, Max got stuck under a tree in a pit so he dug his way out. Another reason, is Max is brave. He gets shot with a pistol while telling a Jew not to shoot a Nazi. Finally, this book is about not giving up. They get out of the grip of the Nazis but still have to find their dad. As you can see, I Survived The Nazi Invasion 1944 is a book you won’t want to miss.

If you like history and war then you would like I Survived The Nazi Invasion 1944. Do you like to read historical fiction where the characters do realistic things? I love this book so I hope you do.
