Clementine's Letter

In this book, Clementine discovers that her teacher, Mr. D’Matz, might leave for the rest of the year because he’s in a teacher competition and the best teacher goes to Egypt. When he leaves to compete, Clementine discovers that she does not like the substitute teacher. She is determined to find a way to get her teacher back. What will she do?

I liked this book for many reasons. First, I liked it because Clementine surprised me with her changing behavior. My favorite part was when she gave a speech about baked beans. It was unusual and I didn't expect her talk about baked beans in public. I liked this book because it is very funny when Clementine named her friend’s lizard, Flomax. That is why it’s a great book.

I would recommend this book to any kid that likes a good laugh. This story made me laugh and I could not put it down.
