This book is about a boy and a snowman. He wonders what would happen if the snowman didn't melt and he stayed to play with him all year. On a summer evening in the dark they chase some fireflies. They can celebrate at his birthday party. To find out what happens, read this story.
This book was a little silly, like when the boys teaches the snowman how to fly a kite and play games. The best part was when the boy became friends with the snowman because it's good to have friends. I also thought that the pictures were great because they made me wish I was in the story.
I recommend this book for 5-7 year olds. I recommend this book because I thought it was funny. I also like the pictures. I think the kids will like the snowman and the little boy.
