The story is about a girl named Raina who needs braces because she knocked out two of her adult teeth. She really doesn't want braces and she does not want her friends to know that she is getting them. Raina needed so many doctors to work on her teeth. She also got a retainer on which she always got food stuck. That's only the beginning and if you want to know more, read Smile!
I loved this story because it was so great in the end. My favorite part was when Raina got braces because it was so funny when she complained about them. The illustrations were fantastic because every picture seems realistic. Smile is one part of a series. Sisters is another book in the series and it is like Smile because it is about Raina also. I think you should read Smile. It was very interesting and comical!
