The Boxcar Children

My favorite book is The Boxcar Children. It is about two brothers and their two sisters. They want to live by themselves because they are orphans. They find an old boxcar and make it into a little house. Their grandfather is look for them. The kids think he will be mean.

My favorite part was when they found their dog. They named their dog Watch, he was a very good watchdog.

Benny was my favorite character. I liked him because he was small and funny. He made jokes sometimes.

I liked the illustrations because they are black and white. They are cool because they show details of the story.

I recommend this book to kids in 2nd grade and up. I think they will like learning about The Boxcar Children.
