Junie B., First Grader: One-Man Band

If you like funny stories you will probably like Junie B. Jones and the One Man Band. Junie B. kicks her toe on a bucket and can’t play in the kickball tournament. This makes her very frustrated. So, she has to be in Sheldon’s half time show. Read this book to find out if she makes it through!

Speaking for myself I think this book was really funny. The main character was Junie B. Jones and she does a lot of funny things. My personal connection to the book is the part when Junie B. Jones tries to juggle the bread and fails. Once when I tried to juggle, I was not good either! This book is similar to other books in the Junie B. Jones series because they all have the same funny character, Junie! The characters in the book were all really funny and made me laugh a lot. This book made me feel sad sometimes but laugh other times. It is a really good book.

I think other kids should read this book because a lot of parts of the story are really funny. And it has a good ending. I think a reader who loves funny stories would love this book. I think this book would be good for 2-4 graders. One part was when Junie B. Jones was trying to juggle bread. It was so silly!
