Hidden Child of the Holocaust

Could you imagine what it’s like hiding underground your whole childhood? Well that’s what happens to Ruth, a girl in this story. Ruth is Jewish and it’s World War 2. Hitler, the leader of Germany, is trying to eliminate her race. Ruth is in hiding trying to survive, but will she? Read the book to find out.

I liked this book because in different chapters there were tons of cliff hangers! My favorite part was when they were at the orphanage. Would their mom ever come back? This book is like Number The Stars because in both books Hitler is trying to take over. It makes me wonder if her mother will ever see Ruth again.

This book would be good for older readers ages 12-15. The cliff hangers, style and genre make it interesting. So if you want a great cliff hanging book read Hidden Child of the Holocaust!
