Dear Dumb Diary, Its Not My Fault I Know Everything

A twelve year old girl named Jamie Kelly lives in a big house with her dog, Stinker, and her mom and dad. She goes to Mackerel Middle School. Her best friend is eleven year old Isabella. Her unbest friend is Angeline. Jamie is forced to write this diary. She knows that her past diaries have been foolish so she flushes them out of her head.

At the first day of middle school, she finds her first enemy and a boy named Hudson who has a crush on her. The first few months are good, but then her dog and Angelica's dog, Stickybuns, have puppies. Angeline thinks that just because the dogs are getting married, she and Jamie are related. Another problem is that they get an assignment from their English teacher, Mr. Evans, to write a diary about anything they want. When they turned in the assignments, some bad stuff is revealed.

At the end of the book, Jamie never finds out what Angeline wrote in her diaries. She does find out that Hudson, the guy that liked her, doesn't like her anymore because of her hair makeover that Angeline gave her. Jasmine cuts off all of her beautiful hair and lives and Hudson ends up liking Angeline. That is how the story ends.

If I could change the story I would change Jamie because she is too childish and doesn't take stuff seriously. I don't have a favorite part of the story because the problems are pretty silly. My favorite character is Angeline because she is pretty, knows everything, and has awesome hair. My least favorite character is Jamie because she always worries about everything. She needs to just relax.

This story relates to my life because school is hard and you have to work to get what you want. This story has lots of pictures and it helps tell the story because it just makes the reader more involved. I think people should read this book because it is funny with all of the cartoons. This book helps you get a laugh when you are sad.
