Hercules Doesn't Pull teeth

Do you like to get your teeth pulled? In the book, Hercules Doesn't Pull Teeth, Liza has a dentist appointment. Her friends Eddie, Melody, and Howie go with her. Liza goes into her prior arrangement and a couple of minutes later she comes back out looking very sad. Howie asked, "What's wrong?" "Did the dentist cancel your appointment?" Liza replies, "Worse! Dr. Zeus is missing and now I have to see a new dentist, Dr. Herb!" The children get scared that Liza is going to get hurt. They thought that because he is very big and strong. Dr. Herb is definitely different than other dentists; he cleans Liza's teeth faster than ever. Through some investigating, the kids decide that Dr. Herb must be Hercules! They follow him into his house. They saw lots of weird stuff inside like a pot with pictures on it. Then out of nowhere, Dr. Herb was coming right towards them. They turn and dart out of the house as fast as they can. To find out if Dr. Herb is Hercules and was really Hercules, and why the number twelve is so important, read the book.

I enjoyed reading Hercules Doesn't Pull Teeth. My favorite part of the book was when Liza told her friends about the dentist appointment. It was my favorite because I like to tell my parents about the dentist, especially when the dentist says that I brush well every day. I enjoyed it because I felt happy as I read the book. This story reminds me of the time I went to the dentist and the dentist pulled out my two bottom teeth because the permanent teeth were under it. I liked the story the most because the story took my breath away.

I recommend this book to children who enjoy reading suspenseful stories. You could never tell what was going to happen next. This book is entertaining and funny. It will keep you on the edge of your seat!
