Lily's Crossing

Have you ever felt like life is going all wrong? Lily Mollahan sure does! Her friend, Margaret, moved away, and her father was going off to fight in World War II. When a new boy named Albert moves in next-door, things start getting better.

My favorite part of the book was when Lily saved the kitten from drowning. I liked it because it was a lot of action and it was very interesting. The story reminds me of the time when my friend moved away because Lily?s friend Margaret moved away and she felt really sad and that was how I felt. When I read the book I laughed, I almost cried, and I smiled. The unique thing about this book was that it was told in third person but it felt like you were inside Lily?s head.

I would recommend this book for kids ages 9-12, but I think everyone can relate to it. If I read this book to an audience, I would read to one of all ages. If you want to learn more about this book? READ IT!!!!!!!
