The BFG

The BFG is about a girl who gets captured in the night. At first, Sophie couldn't sleep. A brilliant light hits Sohpie's pillow. "The witching hour" thought Sophie. Without warning, a huge, enormous hand grabs Sophie. Do you know who it was? The BFG! The big friendly giant. So, The BFG and Sophie went on adventures together to save the kingdom from the horrible, ugly, bad giants. Can our heroes save the kingdom, or will they lose the fight? You'll have to read this excellent novel to find out.

I like the BFG because it is so funny. I have a favorite part when the BFG is pronouncing words. He doesn't always say words right. It is interesting because the BFG is a giant and he wrote the book. The story reminds me of the time I had people who helped me when I was struggling. It?s like that.

I encourage people to read this book because it makes me think about helping others. It's good for children in grades 3 and up.
