Babushka's Doll

This book was funny because of the way Patricia treated her babushka. Babushka is the Russian word for grandmother. Patricia was very demanding to her grandmother. Her babushka gave her a doll that belonged to her when she was a little girl. Something magical happens to Patricia?s babushka?s doll. Read this book to find out the amazing thing that happened.

We liked this book because it teaches you a lesson not to be so demanding of people. It also teaches you to treat people the way you want to be treated. We thought the illustrations were very well drawn and colorful.

Our favorite part is the magical thing that happened to the doll. Sara liked the book because she likes dolls. Sierra liked the book because it teaches you a lesson not to be bossy.

We recommend this book to people who like Patricia Polacco books. If you like books with good illustrations, read this book.
