Skeleton Man

This story is about a little girl and her so-called uncle. It started when she got off school, went home and she found that her parents were gone. So a man claiming to be her uncle came to her house with a social worker and he took her home with him. She didn't want to go home with him. The next day she went to school and told them about her uncle, but they didn't believe her. That night, she had a dream about a rabbit showing her how to kill her uncle because her uncle was chasing her and he wanted to eat her. The rabbit also told her that her parents were still alive. Then she made plans to get her mom and dad out. She threw a rock at the house window upstairs so her uncle would go look to see. Then she went into the shed to see if her parents were there and they were tied up in a hole. She helped her parents get free, but her uncle came out and he started to run after her. Does she get away? Read the book to find out.

My favorite part is when Molly threw a rock at the window and went into the shed and freed her parents. I liked it because she tricked her uncle. My favorite character is Molly because she was brave. She was brave when she was on that bridge and her uncle was chasing her and she got away. When I read this book, I felt like I could be Molly. I would be scared but I would do the same thing as her. I would free my parents, too!

I recommend this book. I thought it was interesting because Molly was smart and she was the best character. I think kids seven and up can read it by themselves.
