The Thief Lord

In The Thief Lord, the main characters, Prosper and Bo, run away from their Aunt Esther?s house to Venice. There they meet a relative who takes them in with her band of street friends. They meet somebody called the thief lord who provides food and money by stealing. The thief lord has a dark secret that will change their lives forever. The lesson I learned was to not steal or lie.

I loved this book, because it was very interesting. My favorite part was when they find the thief lord?s secret, because it?s shocking and exciting. I think I?m kind of like Prosper always trying to protect my brother. Scipio changes by hopping on a magic merry-go-round and turns into an adult. There are few illustrations in this book. They?re very detailed and beautiful. This book is kind of like The Lord of the Rings, because they?re both mysterious. I felt wonder and excitement when I read this book. This book reminds me of my brothers. The book made me think of Italy.

I recommend this book, because it?s interesting and mysterious. The kind of audience that would enjoy this book is one that likes survival books. I thinl they would enjoy when the band of street friends are running from victor. Hurry and buy it today!
