The Tummy Beast, one of the poems in the book, is about a boy who doesn't know how a beast got inside of his belly. So, when the mother tells him he is lying, the beast starts to talk. Then, the mother faints.

I thought that this was a great book of poetry. I liked these poems because they were funny. My favorite poem was The Tummy Beast. In it, the tummy beast was inside the child. The mother thought the son was lying, until the beast says something. Suddenly, the mother fell on the floor. That's funny. I think that the illustrations are great and funny because it shows what happened in the poem. The author and illustrator used their imaginations.

I recommend this book because it teaches children what to do when they have problems. It also has funny poems. The audience that I would recommend this book of poetry to are people who like to laugh. If you want to know more, find books by Roald Dahl and check them out.
