Tuck Everlasting

Tuck Everlasting is about when Jesse Tuck drinks the water that makes you live forever. Then Jesse meets Winnie and she falls in love with Jesse. When Mae, Jesse's mom, goes to the gallows for killing a man, Jesse goes to Winnie's house and asks her for help. Mae can't go to the gallows because she can't die. Winnie goes to the police station and she takes Mae's place in jail.

I really liked this book! I couldn't wait to find out what happened every time we read it. My favorite character is Jesse. I like when he asks Winnie to marry him. And I like Jesse because he's never scared of anything. Winnie's scared of stuff. I wish that Winnie would have stayed with Jesse.

I recommend Tuck Everlasting. I liked this book so much that I checked it out of the library again! I think fifth grade should read this because it is challenging. They should be about 12 years old.
