Stranger in the Woods

It's wintertime and the children in the story build a snowman to attract the forest animals using a carrot, nuts, and seeds. The forest animals try to figure out who this stranger is in their woods as the children get a closer look at the animals. All the pictures in this book are real photographs of animals and nature.

I liked the book because all of the animals are brave. My favorite part is when the animals find out who the stranger is. The deer in the story was also interesting to me because it reminds me of my dad. He likes deer a lot. Another thing that was interesting to me about this book was that it is the first book that I ever read that had snow in it. That made it really special to me.

I would recommend this book to anybody who likes nature. If you like real pictures of wild animals, you would like this book, too. It is easy enough for second and third graders to read by themselves.
