Turnabout

Have you ever wondered how long you would live? In the book I just finished some people actually were in their 100?s or almost their 100?s but some scientists took 50 people and gave them a shot called PT-1 and I?ll tell you what it did.

Can you believe the shot made them get younger every year instead of older? It did! They were supposed to live forever because when they got to the age where they wanted to live forever, they got another shot that would make them stop getting younger and they would stay that age forever. One man tried that and he disintegrated right in front of the scientists. So now everyone was worried that they would keep getting younger until they died. Amelia Hazlewood, also known as Melly, and her best bud Anny Beth finally get to leave the agency but when they left they had to stay in contact with the agency. They couldn?t contact any old friends or family because the scientists had told everyone that they were dead and asked the families to donate the bodies to science. Actually they weren?t supposed to tell anyone.

A reporter by the name of A. J. Hazlewood contacts Melly by e-mail and said she was doing research on her family and asks if Amelia could contact her. They try to stay away from her. Later they have to find someone to take care of them because they are getting too young to take care of themselves. Who will they find? I?ll let you read the book to find out.

I really liked this book because it kept you wanting to keep reading because it was so suspenseful. My favorite character was Anny Beth because she was really funny and spoke what was on her mind. When she didn?t understand anything about project Turnabout she would ask and everyone else would be relieved because they didn?t get it either. While I was reading I was thinking that it would be cool if Turnabout could really happen, and at the end of the book the author says that scientists are working on it. But I wouldn?t take it because I want to just die when I die.

I would recommend this book to everyone, especially people who like science fiction books because it is such a good book no matter what.
