Fourth Grade Rats

This book was about a boy named Peter who is going to the fourth grade. Peter always said: First grade babies, Second grade cats, Third grade angels, Fourth grade rats. He is now a rat and does bad things. His friend from third grade does not like how Peter is acting.

I liked the book because it had a lot of action in it, and I liked the way Peter stared at his mother when she gave him an order.

The illustrations are so good they belong in an art museum. They are colorful with red, blue, green and purple. I have never read anything like it.

Some other books I have read by Jerry Spinelli are 'Maniac Magee' and 'How to do the Funky Pickle.' I must say 'Fourth Grade Rats' was the best. The others were boring and not as funny.

The genre of this book is action and lots of people like action. I would recommend this book to a person who does not get out much. Because you shouldn't keep yourself in, and this could tell about what to face if you do let yourself out sometimes.
