Have you ever fought crime? Well in the book Captain Underpants written by Dav Pilkey it’s about a Captain that only fights crime. In the beginning, there is a science teacher who wants to take over the world. Thankfully, Captain Underpants fights the science teacher who turned into a Bionic Booger Blob. The Blob and Captain underpants throw punches. The Bionic Booger Blob gets Captain underpants and then...Well you will just have to read the book to find out what happens to Captain Underpants.
I like this book because it is very funny because Captain Underpants only wears a cape and Underpants. Also, Captain Underpants says “tra lah laaaa”. “There are also two boys named George and Harold that always pull pranks like the one where George and Harold put a tiger in the classroom. They also went to the principal’s office 424 times. Insane. This book is crazy.
I recommend this book to 3rd and 4th graders because this book has fighting and crime in it and weird stuff. There are also pranks in this book. I give this book 4 out of 5 stars because there are some funny parts like when Captain Underpants punches a Booger Boy in the nose. There are also boring parts like when George just talks about his principal who they say is mean, so be ready for the boring parts too!
