Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

One day Mr. Wonka decides to open his chocolate factory after closing for many years. Then Mr. Wonka sends out five golden tickets that are hidden in chocolate. But they're all in different Wonka candies. On the last day of the month, and the final day to get a ticket, Charlie finds the last golden ticket. While in Mr. Wonka's factory Charlie and his grandfather go below ground because Mr. Wonka says there are more rooms down there. Finally they realize who Mr. Wonka's secret workers are, they are Oompa-Loompas. The Oompa-Loompas are from Loompaland. Then they see some of Mr. Wonka's candies. Veruca Salt decides to take some of the candy. To find out what happens next you have to read the book.
My favorite part was when Veruca was thrown down the chute because she always got what she wanted. Charlie was interesting to me because he was small and he was a boy like me. This story reminds me of when I wanted to go ice-skating and I did. Charlie changed his life by going from being poor to living in a chocolate factory.
I think Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a good book for kids. Parents, you should buy this book for all of your children. It's just a wonderful book for kids and parents. So kids, go to your library and check this book out.
