Chrysanthemum

Chrysanthemum is a book about a mouse named Chrysanthemum. When Chrysanthemum was old enough to respect her name she…loved it! Soon she started school, but not everybody felt the same way about her unique name. Read this book to find out what happened next.

I think that there is a very important lesson in the book. Don’t bully! The book reminded me of Cinderella because she was mistreated just like Chrysanthemum. I really like this book because the lesson is really important. I also like the book because it has mice, and I like mice. When the mice bullied Chrysanthemum it made me sad because I know how it feels to be picked on and it does not feel good. The book made me wonder how many people get bullied a year. I think the illustrations are very colorful. I think the author did a very good job adding details into the book. I do not like Victoria, Rita, and Jo because they’re the ones who bullied Chrysanthemum. I think they were just jealous of Chrysanthemum because most people that bully others are just jealous.

I recommend this book for kids of all ages because the book teaches an important lesson. I think people that like books with talking animals will enjoy this book. So, get this book at a store near you!
