Arthur Writes a Story

In the story Arthur Writes a Story by Marc Brown, Arthur has to write a story for his class. Mr. Ratburn assigns each student a story to write. Arthur starts his story right away. The problem is he has a good story, but then he copies Buster's idea and then adds singing. Arthur adds more details that make his story more confusing. Mr. Ratburn tells him to stick to his original story about his puppy Pal because he really liked it.

Our favorite part is when Arthur does his funny, weird, and short dance because it is hilarious. Mr. Ratburn is our favorite character because he's a tall, long rat with stinky feet and he is strict. This story relates to our lives because we go to a fun, happy school. This story has pictures and they help tell us what the words mean.

We think others should read this story because it shows you the correct way to write a story.
