The Three Investigators: The Mystery of the Moaning Cave

This story is about three investigators who investigate this cave that moans all night long. The three investigators are Jupiter, Pete, and Bob. They are trying to figure out why the cave is moaning. They find all kinds of passages in the cave, and they think that El Diablo might be in one of the passages making that moaning sound. Some of the passages are very scary, and the Three Investigators have lots of adventure as they search for El Diablo.

I didn’t like The Mystery of the Moaning Cave because it gave me nightmares, and I never liked chapter books. My favorite part was when El Diablo pointed his pistol at them. It made me thing that something big was about to happen next. I liked Jupiter because he found El Diablo. This book is different from all of the other books in the series because this book is about a place and the other books are more about people. I felt scared while I was reading the book.

I recommend The Mystery of the Moaning Cave because other people like mysteries and other people would probably like moaning caves, even if I don’t. I recommend this book to my friend Preston because he loves mysteries. I think everybody would like the part where El Diablo points his rifle at them. It’s really exciting and scary in a good way.
