Because of Winn-Dixie

This book is about a girl named India Opal, who was 10 years old and was supposed to go to the store and get food. She came back with a dog and the food. She named the dog after the store Winn Dixie. Opal began to realize just how melancholy she had been feeling since her mother had left her. Do you want to read the rest of the story? Then go get the book and read it.

My favorite was when India Opal had to go get food and she got a dog, because it?s the most exiting part of the book. This book is like the Tiger Rising, because she takes a tiger. It does remind me of a time in my life when we lost our dog. The character who changed was Opal because she didn?t like the Dewberry boys at the beginning of the story and now she does.

I recommend this book because it?s a very famous book. Everyone should read this book because it?s very exiting. The main character,Opal, might interest the reader because she was so nice.
