Pinky and Rex and the Just-Right Pet

This story is about a boy named Pinky and his little sister, Amanda. They both want a different kind of pet. They finally get a black and white cat named Rex. Pinky dislikes cats, but then he realizes how sweet and cute they are. Pinky and Rex do a lot of things together like building a cat house. They have a lot of fun together.

My favorite part of the story was when Pinky became friends with Rex because it was nice and cute. My least favorite character is Amanda because she seems to be a mean sister. I like the pictures because they help tell the story.

I think you should read this story because it teaches you to try new things. If Pinky did not try new things, he would not have been friends with Rex.
