Monster Blood

This story is about a boy named Evan who can't stop thinking about monster blood. He discovered the monster blood when his hamster ate the monster blood. The hamster turned into a gorilla and kept growing. Evan thought the monster blood was the scariest thing in the world and he could not get it off his mind. A tiny chunk of monster blood turns into big chunks of monster blood. Evan tried to think of something else, but he couldn't. Evan's friends tried to change the subject so Evan wouldn't think about monster blood, but Evan still thought of monster blood.

I thought this book was cool because it was scary. My favorite part is when Evan's hamster turns into a gorilla. I liked all the characters in the book, especially Evan because he reminded me of my cousin, Jullian, who is really afraid of monsters. I used to be afraid of monsters when I was younger so I can relate to Evan. I like scary books and this one was really scary.

I recommend this book to people who like scary stories. Read it at night if you really want to be scared. It's one of the best. Kids above third grade would like this book. Kids younger might be too scared. I think you should read this book and then pass it on to other kids.
