Missing May

Since Summer was six years old she lived in Deep Water, Kansas with her Aunt May and her Uncle Ob. Now, six years later, May has died and Summer is worried something will happen to Ob. Some days it seems he doesn't want to go on. But there is a strange boy at school who might have a cure for Ob. Can he do it? Find out by reading Missing May.

I loved this book because it touched my heart. My favorite part was when Summer heard May in her sleep. This book is unlike any other I have read because it is a sad but happy book. Missing May made me feel calm. Summer is like my friend Reese because she is very brave.

I recommend this book because it reminds you that you should be thankful for what you have. I also recommend this book for all ages, especially to people who have lost someone close to them.
