Rocky Mountain Summer

Fern and Roy?s Ma is leaving home to work in a hotel. Ma is going to be the cook in a hotel restaurant. Roy and Fern have never been away from their ma. They have to go with their grandparents to the Rocky Mountains for the summer. They have a lot of adventures, and learn about being apart from someone they love.

I think this book is good for people that are starting to read chapter books. If I were in the story, I would love to go to the Rocky Mountains. The story was a little sad because they had to leave their Ma for the summer. I wouldn?t be happy if I had to leave my mom for the summer.
