Here Comes the Strikeout

Bobby cannot hit the ball. He tried but he could not hit the ball. Finally, at practice, he hit the ball. He was so happy! But during the game, he still could not hit the ball. Willy gave Bobby the good luck bat so he would do better. He came home crying because he still could not hit the ball. He practiced and practiced but he could not hit the ball. Willy was his good friend. Bobby decided to ask Willy to help him become a better hitter.

I like this book because I like baseball and because Bobby did not give up easily. Bobby and Willy were good friends. The illustrations are good. The colors are nice and the pictures help to tell the story.
