Artemis Fowl

Artemis Fowl is a criminal, a genius, and a millionaire. And he's only 12 years old! That's right,a twelve year old criminal mastermind. But when the LEPrecon Special Forces get in the way of his plans, a war rages between the two races. This book takes place in the twenty-first century,so it takes place in a futuristic era.

I like this book because it brings leprechauns and trolls to life, and because it takes place in the future. My favorite part was when Butler fought the giant troll in the gallery. I also liked it because it was a neat adventure book and was full of suprises.

If you blieve in magic, I think you should read this book. But I only recommend this book to fifth graders and up because of the vocabulary. It has some hard words, and even I had a little bit of trouble with some of the words. You could say this is a futuristic fairytale that takes you many years into the future.
