A-Z Mysteries: The Absent Author

Have you ever tried to solve a mystery? The book A to Z Mysteries: The Absent Author by Ron Roy takes you on an adventure. In the beginning, Dink, Josh, and Ruth Rose go to the Book Nook to get Dink’s books signed by the author Wallis Wallace but the author never shows up. Then, a woman overhears Dink say he got a note that said, “sort of being kidnapped,” and the woman says she got a different note. In the end, the kids go through the steps that the author went through. They wind up at the hotel he was in and check the room where he was staying. Read the book to see if he is in room 303 in the hotel!

In my opinion A to Z Mysteries: The Absent Author by Ron Roy is an amazing book by Ron Roy. I liked the book because the author described the characters. “He raised his mischievous green eyes toward the ceiling of Dink’s bedroom,” is one line describing Josh. Another reason it is amazing is the author described how characters feel. For example, Dink is worried that the author might not come. It is also a book that takes you on an adventure.
