Diary of a Wimpy Kid

In this book, a kid named Greg has two brothers that are mean to him. Everything in Greg’s life seems to always get messed up. The book is about what Greg writes in his diary.

I liked this book for many reasons. First, it’s funny. For example, when Greg’s brother Rodrick writes on his lunch bag, I laughed. Also, the illustrations are so good and add a lot to the story. Finally, it has surprises in it. I was surprised when Greg’s mom took a class.

I recommend this book because it is interesting. You never know what is going to happen next. I think kids who are in first or second grade would like it because it’s a good reading level.
