This book is about a girl named Amanda but everyone calls her Mandie. She is coming back from Switzerland and she is going home to North Carolina, Asheville. When she gets home her mother has a fever and the possibility of death. Mandie feels super tired and feels like she needs to have a big nice rest. Then she finds a way to see her mother but her friend Polly reminds her about her baby brother Samuel. What will happen to Mandie's little brother, Samuel? Read the book to find out.
My favorite part is when Mandie tries to get into her mother's room. Mandie is unique because she is always looking for an adventure. I am like Mandie because I am adventurous. The story made me feel sad when something happens to Samuel.
I recommend this story to anyone who likes adventures because this book is very exciting. The exciting part is that Mandie heard an angel speak to her.
