This book is about Greg a kid who is in middle school and is trying to get out of it. Greg and his best friend Rowley are trying not to get the cheese touch. As the book goes on Rowley and Greg start to fall apart as friends.

I think book is a funny book. The things Greg writes in his diary are just good humor. In the book things like “one day I’ll be rich and famous, but now I’m in middle school with a bunch of morons” are funny. The best part of the book is when Manny brings Rodrick’s book to school. The lesson in the book is be kind to your friend. I praise this book for the illustrations, and the way the book is written in a diary. I think this is the best book in the world because the book is like no other. The book is hilarious and strange.

I would recommend this book for ages 7 & up.
