The Magic Tree House: High Tide in Hawaii

Ahhh tropical Hawaii, if you want a sunny surfing adventure pick this book right up and start reading. This book called High Tide Hawaii, is written and illustrated by Mary Pope Osborne. The characters in this book are Jack, Annie and their two friends Boka and Kama and their parents.

Jack and Annie have to find a special magic in Hawaii. When they get to Hawaii there is music. Jack and Annie hid behind bushes. The people are dancing, Annie joins them. They find a boy and a girl and uh oh... this is where the adventure begins. To know more about this adventure book pick the book up and start reading.

I like reading the Magic Tree House series because I love history mixed with adventure. My favorite part is when Jack gets a surfboard and goes to sea and calls Boka Kama. The book is so descriptive, you really feel like you are in Hawaii. The illustrations are also quite good, they help me understand the story better. What I love about this book is that you get to learn about Hawaii in a fun way.

I recommend this book to kids ages 6 and up and who like magic and adventure in a tropical setting. Bon Voyage!
