Double Identity

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a clone? Bethany Cole does. Bethany Cole is a normal twelve year old child. Lately, Bethany's mother cries constantly and her father won't let her out of his sight. One night Bethany's father rushes her and her mother into the car. After they pass several state lines, they drop Bethany off with an aunt she's never seen or ever heard of. Every so often she'll get a phone call from her parents. Then one day she gets a package from her parents. When she opens it, she finds...Read the book to find out the rest.

I did not like the book because it was too much of a mystery, but if you like mysteries this is definitely the book for you. My favorite part of the book is when Bethany finds out she is a clone. I loved the way the author described, her expression. She felt like her parents didn't want her for herself. She felt like they wanted her for the child they lost. The Shadow Children Series is also by Margaret Peterson Haddix. The shadow children is not much different except you do not want to stop reading. I think Bethany changed a lot in the book; now she looks at things a lot different.

I recommend this 209-page book for ages 10 and up. I recommend The Shadow Children Series also written by Margaret Peterson Haddix.
