MARTHA SPEAKS

Hello. Want to hear about Martha? First, Martha eats alphabet soup but it went to her brain and she starts to talk. She talks and talks and she never stops. Then a burglar comes into the house. Martha goes to the phone, but she can't speak. Read the book to find out what happens.

I like Martha Speaks because Martha learns how to talk. It's funny because dogs can't talk. It was also funny because Martha told a man he was fat. She says whatever is on her mind. The pictures look colorful to me and they have talking bubbles. My favorite part was when she was under the table and said "please pass the carcus." This is my favorite part because she was under the table talking. Another favorite part is when she calls the man fat. I thought this part was so funny. This book is special because Martha speaks.

I would recommend this book because it is funny. I think that people who like dogs or puppies would like this book.
