If you?d like to read a book about slaves and their way to freedom, you would love to read this book. The book is about a little girl?s great-great grandma. She was born a slave. One night her father came from another plantation. He told his wife that he met a man who could bring them to freedom. If you want to find out if they succeeded you'll have to read the book!

I would recommend this book to others because it tells you about how the little girl?s great-great grandma got to freedom forever. I think people who like biographies would like this book. I liked this book because it reminds me of Harriet Tubman. It reminds me of her because she wanted freedom and she got it. It showed me that if you keep trying you can succeed.
