Mr. Putter and Tabby Walk the Dog

Have you ever had a dog that is a devil? In this book, there is one! In Mr. Putter and Tabby Walk the Dog, when Mr. Putter was walking the dog, the dog started to walk Mr. Putter! Mr. Putter and Mrs. Teaberry are neighbors and they are loyal friends. Mr. Putter has a cat named Tabby. Mrs. Teaberry has a dog named Zeke. One day when Mr. Putter and Mrs. Teaberry were sharing snacks, Mrs. Teaberry slipped on her foot. She needed to go to the doctor. The doctor said do not walk Zeke for a week. So Mr. Putter volunteered to walk Zeke. The first day, he tugged and tugged and tugged. Mr. Putter didn't think it could be worse! The second day, Zeke wrapped Mr. Putter around trees with the leash! How will Mr. Putter ever fix this mess? You will have to read the book to find out.

I like this book because Zeke and Mr. Putter and Mrs. Teaberry are very funny. Zeke is interesting because he chases big dogs, so he is brave and energetic. My favorite part was when Zeke was tugging and tugging and tugging. That was really funny because a little dog can't pull around a man and a cat. Zeke is strong to tug Mr. Putter and Tabby. The illustrations are great because I can see the watercolor strokes of the paintbrush. The pictures are popping off the page!

If you like weird dogs and small strong dogs, you will definitely like this book. If you like old big men getting hurt by something smaller than they are, then you will like this book. I learned that you have to be careful with living things. This book has it all. I recommend this clever book to everyone!
